Terms of use
Last updated: 13 October 2026
These terms apply to the SiteVerdict API, hosted MCP server, website, Chrome extension, WordPress plugin and Shopify app. They are provided by BharatFare Travel and Technologies Ltd (company no. 16716642, Plymouth, United Kingdom), trading as SiteVerdict ("we"). Contact: aman.thakran@bharatfare.com.
- The service. Automated technical checks of public websites: speed, accessibility, consent and cookies, privacy-policy signals, SEO, AI-search readiness, domain and email health, technology detection and page-to-Markdown conversion.
- Not advice. Results are automated technical indicators. They are not legal advice, a compliance opinion or an accessibility certificate. Automated accessibility testing finds only some WCAG failures, and consent findings are not a GDPR or PECR opinion. Ask a qualified professional before relying on them.
- Acceptable use. Check only websites you own, are allowed to test, or are entitled to assess from their public pages. Do not use the service to overload, attack or probe websites, to scan private networks, or to get round our rate limits, robots.txt handling or other protections. Do not resell raw results as a competing bulk-crawling service. Respect third parties' terms and copyright when converting pages to Markdown.
- Our crawler. SiteVerdictBot respects robots.txt and never gets round CAPTCHAs, logins, paywalls or bot protection. Pages that block us return an error and are not charged.
- Plans and billing. Prices are shown where you buy: RapidAPI, the Shopify App Store or our own checkout. Purchases through RapidAPI or Shopify are also governed by their terms. On our own plans, monthly credits reset each calendar month and do not roll over, and checks are charged only when a result is returned. Prices shown to UK consumers include all mandatory taxes.
- Keys and accounts. Keep API keys and tokens secret. You are responsible for use under your keys. We may revoke keys or suspend accounts that are compromised or misused.
- Availability. We provide the service on a best-efforts basis without an uptime guarantee, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Liability. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
- Changes. We may change these terms or prices. For paid plans we will give 30 days' notice of changes that affect you.
- Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
